DEPARTMENTS

MEN’S FELLOWSHIP

The Men’s Fellowship is led by Brother Timothy Magune.  It holds occasional meetings which are kept as informal as possible and takes every opportunity to help initiate young boys into responsible Christian manhood. Meetings are usually held once every month, unless when circumstances dictate otherwise.  HOGMI believes through this Fellowship, members’ marriages will be strengthened, homes made habitable and men made responsible and accountable. The desire of the Men’s Fellowship is to have a vibrant Church anchored on solid homes filled with love and in which the Word of God is the instruction for life.

WOMEN’S FELLOWSHIP

The Department is led by Sister Beaulah Nduru and has a mandate to raise effective women of God as modeled in Proverbs Chapter 31. The Fellowship holds Ladies Meetings on Thursdays and there is a Super Ladies’ Meeting once a month which also features those who are formally employed.

COUNSELLING DEPARTMENT

This department is led by Pastor Shepherd Tapera, who is assisted by Sister Beaulah Nduru.  Its mandate is to help members going through difficulties in any area of their lives through prayerful counselling as led by the Holy Spirit.

USHERING DEPARTMENT

This department, led by Sister Sheila with the assistance of Sister Tabeth, plays a crucial role in welcoming both old and new members into the church during times of service.

VENUE MANAGEMENT

The department is headed by Brother Derick Macheka.  The department ensures that the venue is well managed before, during and after church services.

IGNITE YOUTHS OF GLORY

The youth ministry is led by Brother Phillip and Sister Simba Lyn Chidavaenzi. It works towards ensuring young people’s active involvement in ministry and the community at large. Their driving motivation is to ensure that the church produces responsible young people with a healthy sense of duty.

SECURITY DEPARTMENT

The Security Department provides security for all members and their belongings during our services. People can pray, worship and praise with total focus knowing that their belongings are secure before, during and after the service.

COMPASSION MINISTRY

The Compassion Ministry, led by Pastor Collin Jakarasi works to ensure that the needs of struggling ministry members are met, especially by distributing groceries and foodstuffs brought in by church members. The ministry is also responsible for paying fees for orphans who are members of the ministry. It sends a number of disadvantaged young people to school while helping in the welfare of poor members with the hope of raising them up to also assist others.
